02The story
Our job moved from typing to deciding.
AI agents now run for hours on our computers. They write the code and run the tests, and then they wait for a person. So our job moved from typing to deciding: answer the agent, approve its plan, read the diff, say ship it. That happens at any hour, and rarely at a desk.
I built Nightdesk for exactly those moments. My Mac would be in my office, still working on what I’d left it doing, and I’d remember something from another room. Now I pick up my phone and it’s right there.
iPhone Duo is the first phone shaped for that rhythm, so I built Nightdesk for each of its shapes. Folded, you glance: the agent’s question on the outer screen, one tap to answer. Open, you read: the whole desktop, big enough to really read the diff. Half open, it’s a tiny laptop, your computer’s screen on top and a trackpad and keys below, and you steer.

04Who makes it
Sheroze Ajmal, Coded Realities LLC.
I’m Sheroze Ajmal, and I build apps at Coded Realities LLC, my own small company. Nightdesk is the one I use every day. I make all of it: the apps for iPhone, iPad and Android, the apps for Mac and Linux, and the encrypted relay between them. Write to the address below and it comes to me.
I also built Keyey, an Android keyboard with accurate voice typing that runs on the phone itself. I pair it with Nightdesk to talk to my computer.
